Beachside Pavilion

3 November 2017

Beachside Pavilion is in Broadbeach in the Oasis Shopping Centre and right opposite the beach.   They specialise in fresh seafood, healthy breakfasts, and a yummy all day menu.  Very relaxed, beach-themed restaurant that also includes a take-away Fish & Chip shop.

Fresh, yummy menu with lots of variety for the whole family.  Breakfast is generous and has all the traditional offerings as well as more trendy ones (acai bowls anyone?).    We went for dinner with a group of friends and everyone was very happy with their food – I don’t think there was even one tiny complaint.   They are open 7 days from 6am – 9pm and later Friday and Saturday nights.

Husband FE (Fussy Eater): FE loved his steak – perfectly cooked and great sides for this boring diner!  Good size meals and good variety to choose from.   8/10

16yr old VFE (Very Fussy Eater):   Missed out!

Me FOF (Finder of Food): Fantastic Ceviche and Pork Belly were divine – could not have been better really! Wine was great and as usual we all had too much of it.  9/10

Value:  Not cheap for dinner but in this case I think you do get very good quality seafood and meat cuts for your money.  Wines are upper level prices too.  Breakfasts are good value with most under $20.

Service: Great service and of course personal suggestions from the head chef don’t hurt.

Verdict:  Will go back for sure – lovely feel to the restaurant and good parking underneath make it an easy option for any occasion.
