The Fish House

Stunning view, stunning food, stunning service! Proof that you get what you pay for…absolutely gorgeous. Small downside was being told at 2.25pm that our table was rebooked for 2.30pm so we had to leave a bit sooner than we would have liked. So just a warning to check how long you can have a table for as this spot is very popular!

Friends:  Friends all loved their food…pasta was perfectly cooked and calamari starter was also given a big thumbs up. 9/10

Husband FE (Fussy Eater): HFE loved the whole fish that we shared and of course the creme brûlée. The cannoli was the favoured dessert of the four we tried! ! 9/10

Me FOF (Finder of Food):  Perfectly cooked seafood – not a spot for meat lovers as there is only one veal dish as a meat option. But definitely the best fish I have ever eaten. Amazing range of freshly caught seafood.  9/10

Value:  Not cheap!!!  Worth every penny but save this one for special occasions only!

Service: Our server Matthew was excellent (and had the added bonus of a beautiful French accent).  Fish is deboned at your table for you  (if whole) which is a bit of an art.  And much appreciated!

Verdict:  Stunning spot with excellent food.  Perfect for wedding anniversaries – not really a kids restaurant (although there were some there who were well looked after).

Tip: Celebrate your special day (Birthday or Anniversary) at the Fish House and receive a complimentary $50 voucher! – email them with your special date! info@thefishhouse.com.au
